Join us in the vineyard: Vine surgery — an observational experience among the vines where you can discover one of viticulture’s most fascinating practices: the rehabilitation of vines affected by Esca disease.
During the session, we will demonstrate how—whenever possible—we treat the plant in an attempt to save it and avoid having to remove it.
The experience concludes with a tasting of one of our own wines.
You will witness a fascinating technical task performed by the winemaker: the attempt to save a diseased vine, avoiding uprooting whenever possible.
During the demonstration, you will see how the plant is examined, how damaged areas are identified, and how precise interventions are carried out to try to breathe new life into it.
For safety reasons, the activity is strictly for demonstration purposes; guests will observe and listen to the explanation without directly participating in the procedure.
The experience includes a guided walk through the vineyard, a demonstration of vine surgery performed on a vine affected by *esca* disease, and an explanation of the agronomic choices guiding this work.
A tasting of one of our own wines is included at the end.
