In the vineyard with us: the magic of the grape harvest

Experience the grape harvest in the heart of the Vinci hills and discover firsthand the work that goes into making wine.

Under our guidance, you will take part in the manual grape harvest, learning how to properly cut the bunches and place them in the crates. We will then visit the cellar to learn about the key stages of winemaking.

We will conclude the experience with a tasting of our wines, accompanied by a rustic snack featuring a platter of cured meats and cheeses.

What to Expect

The experience begins among the rows with a guided walk through the vineyard. We will explain how we monitor the grapes, determine the perfect moment for picking, and the factors we consider when harvest time arrives.

As we walk among the vines, we will discuss the Simonit&Sirch method of branch-based pruning—an approach that respects the plant's natural structure and promotes its longevity. Together, we will examine the shoots, branching patterns, and marks left by previous pruning, gaining insight into how every cut impacts the vine's health and future.

Following this introduction, you will dive into the heart of the day: for about an hour and a half, you will take part in the manual harvest, sharing in the movements, rhythms, and atmosphere of one of the year’s most anticipated events. Under our guidance, you will learn the proper technique for picking grape clusters and placing them in crates, experiencing firsthand the work that marks the beginning of the winemaking process.

Once the harvest is complete, we will head to the cellar to follow the journey of the freshly picked grapes. We will explain what happens after the grapes arrive and outline the key stages through which they slowly transform into wine.

We will conclude the experience gathered around the table, tasting our wines accompanied by a rustic country-style snack and a platter of cured meats and cheeses.

It is a convivial moment to savor the local terroir and rediscover—in your glass—the hard work, the landscape, and the stories encountered throughout the day.
