Not just a simple walk, but a hands-on and narrative experience to understand how wine quality is born: through observation, choices, actions, and time. An experience among the rows to discover one of the most important yet least visible aspects of vineyard work: shoot selection.
We’ll head into the vineyard to take a close look at the vines and understand how the winemaker decides which shoots to keep and which to remove. Standing before the vine, we’ll learn to read the plant’s structure, the position of the shoots, the balance of the canopy, the light, the air, and the future development of the clusters.
The goal is to let guests experience the reasoning behind the action: first you look, then you decide, and finally you act.
The selection of shoots thus becomes a way to understand how the quality of the wine is born, long before the harvest and the cellar.
The experience concludes with a guided tasting of two of the estate’s wines, designed to connect what was observed in the vineyard with what is found in the glass.
An experience lasting approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, divided between a tour of the vineyard and a tasting.
During the vineyard portion, guests will be guided through the vineyard to observe the structure of the vine and learn to identify which shoots are removed and which are left.
This will be a hands-on and immersive experience, offering a close-up look at the winemaker’s work and the importance of the decisions that shape the plant’s growth.
The tasting includes 2 wines, served with a platter of cold cuts and bruschetta topped with our extra virgin olive oil.
